Matey's Famous Steaks & Pizza opened its doors in 1989. Father and son team Ron and Michael Matey began making their mouth-watering dishes based on recipes created by Margaret Matey, Ron's grandmother, in the 1950s.

We feature 15 varieties of cheesesteaks including beef, chicken and even a grilled vegetarian version. Our beef cheesesteaks begin with tender, 100% American rib-eye. The steak is then combined with Grandma Matey's secret-recipe; a tomato "gravy" that enhances the natural flavor of the beef and makes our cheesesteaks the juiciest you'll find anywhere.
The 3/4 lb. of savory meat is placed inside our specially-designed steak rolls—which are baked right here in town and delivered daily—so they're always fresh and tasty. The sandwiches are then topped off with mozzarella and provolone cheeses and baked in a convection oven until they reach delicious perfection, and topped with a hand-cut pickle and hot peppers.
